SKYLER IS A VERY HAPPY LITTLE GUY TODAY. I KNOW YOU HAVE ALL SEEN HIM SMILE BUT I COULDN'T PASS THIS ONE UP. I LOVE DAYS LIKE THESE WHEN HE SMILES EVERY TIME I TALK TO HIM.

my baby is 2 months old!

SKYLER IS ALREADY 2 MONTHS OLD. HE SMILES MORE. HE LOVES HIS CARSEAT (MOST DAYS) LOVES TO GO ON WALKS WITH BUNK AND USUALLY FALLS ASLEEP. HE IS VERY GOOD IN THE CAR. I DROVE TO TEMECULA LAST WEEK (45 MINUTES AWAY) BY MYSELF TO LOOK AT HOUSES. HE DID GREAT THE WHOLE TIME. CURRENTLY WE HAVE 3 OFFERS IN ON HOUSES. IT WOULD NICE IF SOMETHING CAME THROUGH THIS TIME. SKYLER KEEPS ME BUSY DURING THE DAY. ( ALL HE DOES IS EAT) HE LOVES TO BE HELD. I RARELY GET IN 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE OR GET TO EAT WITH BOTH HANDS. I HATE TO HEAR MY LITTLE GUY CRY. WE HAVE ONLY HAD ONE BAD NIGHT SO FAR. IM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED THEY COME FEW AND FAR BETWEEN.

SKYLER AND BUNK

7 WEEKS

Skyler is growing....... I can't believe my little handsome man is 7 weeks already. It seems like yesterday my water broke and Max was talking me into going to the hospital. I know I say this everytime but he is still such a sweet little guy. I can't imagine life without him. He is eating every 2 hours and is packing on the pounds. I don't know exactly what he weighs but I think it is around 9 1/2 lbs. He is staying awake a little longer now during the day. He is starting to smile a little bit more. I can't wait till he does it all the time. Since my mother left last week, I have had to go on walks with Bunk and Skyler. This can be quit interesting at times when Bunk sees another dog and wants to play. My neighbors look at me a little funny but I am getting better at pushing a stroller with one hand and walking a 60lb beast with the other. Speaking of Bunk : My nipple shields were found on friday. Where you ask? Where else Bunks puke. Oh yes, Bunk puked and 2 shields came up. I know that had to have given him a belly ache. He kept them down for 2 whole weeks. Most of the time I worry about that poor dog ( something just isnt right with him ) We definately didnt get the brightest crayon from the box. But we do love him and he makes us laugh. The pictures below: Skyler is like his Grandpa Moo when it comes to bathtime. He loves to soak and could stay in for hours. The little onies was from my friend Chelsey. It matches perfect with Max's camies. I thought it was adorable. Thanks Chels. Also in his green outfit. I love colored socks, always have. Our friend Holly and my mother-in-law Deb gave us these. They are absolutely adorable. They look like little shoes and come in all different colors and types. For little girls they have ballerina shoes, cowgirl boots ect. They are called Trumpette socks if anyone is interested. You can also get knock off ones at target. Thanks guys I love them and little Skyler looks so handsome! One more thought: I love Shutterfly. It is a photo website you can make alot of fun things. I made Skyler a scrapbook for his first 6 weeks. I will post pics when it comes. You guys should check it out.

6 weeks

Skyler has almost out grown his newborn outfits. He can still wear them but they are getting tight. His little legs and arms are starting to fill out. He is still such a sweet baby. I thought he could start wearing size one until he pooped and it came out his diaper all over my mom, guess we are going back to newborns for another week.

Bunk has been pretty good with Skyler. He runs to him when he starts to cry. He still wants to be right next to who ever is holding him. He has only got into one dirty diaper ( LUCKY ME). One bad thing is, Bunk thinks he needs to nurse too. He gets very jealous, licking his chops right next to my chest, trying to get in on whatever Skyler is eating. I have had 3 nipple shields go missing in 2 weeks. I guess bunk smells the milk and eats them. no more leaving them on the table. I just hope bunk doesn't have to have some random surgery because of it.

My mom came to visit for 3 weeks. She left today and it was really hard to see her go. We have had a lot of fun and made some good memories. She keeps us laughing. It was so nice to have her here to help. I don't know what I would do without her. Skyler is going to miss her. I love you mom, come back and visit soon.

GETTING BIGGER

Skyler had is 5 week appointment last thursday. Although he is still very small he is growing. His legs are starting to fill all those wrinkles. He weighs 7.12 and he is 20 inches long. He jumped from the 6.2 percentile to the 6.8. The doc said he still has alot of room to grow in his head. I am just glad he will be getting a big head now instead of having one 5 weeks ago. He is still such a sweet, happy little guy. On the other hand, he has a really big problem with pooping...... In the last week, I have been pooped on 4 times. ( actually shot at like a a weapon) 2 times in a parking lot. I dont know what I would have done if my mom hadnt been there to help me clean up or grab another wipe or diaper. I needed 5 hands at that point. Also he has shot at me in the middle of the night on our bed. ( while I was cleaning up, Max jumped in and he got Max) My sheets have never been washed so much in one week. I almost lost it in the parking lot of Kohls. But I still love the little guy.

Sunday was easter. It was quit an interesting day. It was 3:40pm and my apartment started to shake for at least 30 seconds. It was an earthquakeand I was a little scared. I have felt a few but this one was the biggest. After it was done my mom started laughing. She actually thought it was the neighbors upstairs getting hot and heavy. haha. Max's parents came to visit for the weekend and we had a really good time. Also Skyler got a new little cousin. Emma Elizabeth Nye born to Cory and Amie. We cant wait for them to meet and we are so excited for Jo's little guy to get here too.
