A FEW STEPS

11 months old

I LOVE THIS SAD FACE. WE HARDLY EVER SEE IT BECAUSE THIS KID SMILES ALL THE TIME. MY BABY IS 11 MONTHS. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WILL BE A YEAR NEXT MONTH. HE HAS TAKEN A STEP BY HIMSELF A FEW TIMES BUT FOR THE MOST PART HE LIKES TO HOLD OUR HANDS OR HOLD ON TO THE FURNITURE. HE HAS TAKEN A FEW GOOD FALLS BUT SEEMS TO BE REALLY TOUGH. I NOTICE IT IS ALL IN HOW WE REACT TO HIM GETTING HURT. IF WE DON'T MAKE IT A BIG DEAL THEN HE THINKS HE IS FINE. HE NOW HAS 3 TEETH ON THE BOTTOM AND 4 ON THE TOP. HE GRINDS THEM CONSTANTLY AND THE SOUNDS KILLS ME. HIS FAVORITE WORD IS DADDY AND LOVES GIVING HIGH 5'S. HE SLEEPS IN HIS CRIB ALL NIGHT BUT WAKES UP EVERY 3 HOURS TO GET A BABA.

HE LOVES THE TOY MY SISTER GOT HIM FOR CHRISTMAS. IT MAKES A NOISE EVERY TIME HE MAKES A BASKET. HE LOVES WHEN WE CHEER AND CLAP FOR HIM

HIS HAIR IS GETTING LONG ( ONLY ON THE TOP AND BEHIND HIS EARS) IT NEEDS TO BE CUT SO WE CAN STILL SPIKE IT.

INTENTLY WATCHING MICKEY MOUSE CLUB HOUSE. HE LOVES IT AND WE WATCH IT EVERY MORNING. I THINK IT IS WHY HE LIKES GETTING UP AT 7:30

BUNK IS SKYLER'S NEW PILLOW. POOR DOG JUST LAYS THERE AND TAKES MOST OF SKYLER'S ABUSE. WHEN HE GETS SICK OF IT, HE USUALLY GOES AND HIDES IN HIS KENNEL.

WAITING FOR US TO CHEER FOR HIM BECAUSE HE DUNKED IT

HOUSE UPDATE: WE ARE STILL SCHEDULED TO CLOSE FEB 18TH BUT HOPEFULLY MOVING THAT UP TO THE 11TH SO WE CAN GET BLINDS, A FRIDGE, AND WASHER/DRYER IN BEFORE THE BIG MOVE. WE ARE REALLY EXCITED AND CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE OUR OWN PLACE.

ARE WE BAD PARENTS FOR THINKING IT IS FUNNY WHEN SKYLER KEEPS HITTING HIS HEAD? ( NO WORRIES THE TV WON'T FALL)

BIG BOY!

SKYLER IS GOING TO BE WALKING BY HIMSELF BEFORE LONG. HE THINKS HE IS SUCH A BIG BOY AND LOVES WHEN WE CLAP FOR HIM. HE PULLS HIMSELF UP ONTO EVERYTHING AND GETS INTO EVERYTHING. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE IN THE NEW HOUSE SO HE HAS MORE ROOM TO WALK AROUND. HE IS GETTING 3 TOP TEETH AND 1 MORE BOTTOM TOOTH. HE BITES DOWN ON EVERYTHING, EVEN MY CHEEKS AND KNEES IF HE GETS THE CHANCE. SINCE WE HAVE BEEN HOME FROM UTAH HE HAS BEEN SLEEPING IN HIS CRIB THE WHOLE NIGHT AND WAKING UP A FEW TIMES TO HAVE A BOTTLE. I CAN'T BELIEVE MY LITTLE MONKEY IS GOING TO BE 1 IN 6 WEEKS. TIME HAS FLOWN BY.

CHRISTMAS IN UTAH!

I took these two pictures right before we were leaving for Utah. My short little guy cant keep his pants up. I have to roll them at the bottom to keep him from tripping. Gotta love the butt crack.

Skyler loves following Bunk around.

We stopped at a gas station. Skyler was more than happy to get out and get his diaper changed. He is such a good traveler. Good thing or we wouldn't be going home much.

I was so excited to see all my friends and their little ones. It was the first time we were all together. Lindsey had Zander a week before Thanksgiving. He is so handsome. Star had Cozy in May. She is a few months younger then Skyler. She is such a doll. Mandy's little girl Avery is 1 1/2. she is so cute and always on the go. It was so good to see all them. I miss these girls so much. ( we are missing Taisha and Tara in the picture)

Austin is always rocking/singing Skyler to sleep. We were lucky enough to see my sister's family a few hours after we got into town.

We love spending time with Shanna and Ethan. In the picture below Ethan had taken Skyler's binky out of his mouth and wanted it back. Ethan is a mover, its hard to imagine this will be Skyler in a few months.

Bunk thinks this is his chair. If you are sitting in it he will look at you till you get out or come sit on your lap, even if there isn't room for him.

Bunk is always chasing the broom or vacuum when I am cleaning. He also loved it when my dad shoveled the snow. It was pretty funny to watch.

We went through the Logan Temple on Dec. 21st. It was an amazing experience. I am so glad I have my family forever. We were so lucky to have the support of our friends and family. Thanks everyone for coming!

Skyler is pulling himself up onto everything, even Bunk. I am thinking he will be walking before long. The 2 weeks we were in Utah I saw a big change in his balance and standing by himself for a few extra seconds.

On or way back to St George, Max's sister Amie had us over for Lunch and Birthday Cake for Max. She is a great cook and always makes such yummy things. It was nice to take a break from driving and let Skyler crawl around.

Our trip to Utah was very fun. We got to see most of our family and friends. We stayed 2 weeks and it didn't seem long enough. We had many Christmas parties, Max's birthday parties, going to the temple, night out with friends and much more. 2 days before Christmas we got a call from our Realtor that our offer had been accepted on a house. After 2 years of looking and putting in countless offers we are finally closing on a house mid Feb. We couldn't be more excited. Now let the shopping begin. 2010 was a great year and we can't wait for 2011. Hope you all had a great one as well.
