Our month of March

This is what Skyler looks like when daddy dresses him. Skyler had his 1 year check up a few weeks ago. He is 28 inches tall ( or short). We have to roll all of his pants because this guy is a shorty. He weighs in at 21.8 lbs.
Skyler has been trying to say a few more words. Bunk or "GUNK" is one of his favorites. He also tries to say cookie "ookie" He loves playing outside, his drums, getting chased or chasing people, dancing, carrying his stick horse everywhere, sock drawers, books, people watching ( he gets that from me) and he can't get enough of other little kids. He is a lot of fun and keeps us laughing with new things each day. Lately when he doesn't get what he wants he has a fit.

He had his 1st hair cut last week. Mostly the top of his head and the sides that were growing.
Now his mohawk is a little shorter

We went to the Temecula Rod Run in Old Town. It was kind of like the Cache Valley Cruise Inn. Skyler only lasted an hour before he was asleep.

I went to St George Last week to meet my family. Braxton my nephew had a baseball tournament. Driving alone with a 1 year old for 6 hours is not all that fun when they keep dropping their sippies or toys and crying because they want them back. It was a fun to see the family but I don't know how many times I will be doing the drive by myself.

He loved playing outside and watching other people. He was pretty good to stay on the blanket and not wander too far.

PART 1: NEW HOUSE, PART 2: SKYLER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ME ON HOW CLEAN OUR HOUSE IS. MOST OF YOU HAVE HAD THE FUN EXPERIENCE OF A 1 YEAR OLD GETTING INTO EVERYTHING. MAX DID PUT LOCKS ON MOST OF THE CUPBOARDS BUT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN FOR SKYLER TO HAVE ACCESS TO ONE SO HE COULD PULL EVERYTHING OUT.

LAUNDRY ROOM...I LOVE NOT HAVING TO WALK TO A LAUNDRY ROOM ANYMORE

THE BACK YARD. IT HAS CEMENT GOING AROUND THE WHOLE HOUSE

THERE ARE STILL A FEW PROJECTS WE ARE WORKING ON. PAINTING THE FRONT DOOR, YARD WORK, PAINTING THE WALLS. SO FAR WE LOVE IT. THE DRIVE IS A LITTLE LONG FOR MAX BUT IT BEATS LIVING IN A APARTMENT. WE LOVE THE SPACE WE HAVE AND THE BACK YARD!

WE COULD NOT HAVE MOVED WITHOUT THE HELP OF BOTH OF OUR PARENTS , MIKAH AND KADE. THEY WERE SO NICE TO DROP EVERYTHING AND COME HELP US. I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE PICTURES WHILE THEY WERE DOWN BUT WE WERE RUNNING AROUND LIKE CRAZY.

MY PARENTS THE DAY THEY LEFT. THEY WERE A HUGE HELP. MY MOM LOVES TO DETAIL CLEAN ( SHE ENJOYS IT, SICK I KNOW) AND MY DAD LOVES YARD WORK. THEY WERE CHEAP LABOR TOO.

PLANTED SOD. MAX SAYS NOW HE KNOWS I CAN DO YARD WORK I WILL BE DOING IT A LOT MORE.

I THINK BUNK LOVED IT THE MOST.

IT WAS A LITTLE BRIGHT OUTSIDE FOR SKYLER BUT HE LOVED PLAYING IN THE GRASS. HE IS GROWING WAY TOO QUICK.

WE ARE DOING SIPPY CUPS NOW. SO FAR SKYLER HAS DONE REALLY GOOD WITH IT.

THIS WAS SKYLER'S PRE-BIRTHDAY PARTY WHILE THE HAMMONDS WERE STILL HERE. DEB GOT HIM THIS CAKE AND HE LOVED IT. HE LIKED THIS ONE A LOT BETTER THEN HIS REAL BIRTHDAY PARTY. KADE IS MISSING IN THE PICTURE BECAUSE HE WAS TAKING HIS OWN PICTURES.

WE HAD 45 PEOPLE SHOW UP FOR SKYLER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY. I DIDN'T TAKE A LOT OF PICTURES BECAUSE I WAS RUNNING AROUND LIKE CRAZY. SKYLER WAS GETTING HIS MOLARS AND WASN'T FEELING VERY GOOD. WE WERE LUCKY TO GET ANY PICTURES WITH HIM SMILING.

HE WASN'T INTO IT AT ALL.

HE CRIED THE WHOLE TIME I TRIED FEEDING HIM CAKE.

LATER THAT NIGHT HE ENJOYED IT A LITTLE MORE.

HE LOVED THE DRUM SET HIS DADDY PICKED OUT FOR HIM. HE IS SITTING ON MY PARENT'S FRIEND SANDY'S LAP.

HE GOT SPOILED WITH LOTS OF TOYS AND CLOTHES. GOOD THING HE HAS A TOY ROOM NOW!

HE LOVED THE FOUR WHEELER MY PARENTS GOT HIM. HE HAS ONLY PUSHED THE BUTTON A FEW TIMES BY HIMSELF. BUNK HATES IT. I THINK IT SCARES HIM. WHEN SKYLER GETS BETTER AT RIDING IT, HE WILL LOVE TAKING IT IN THE BACK YARD TO PLAY AROUND.

THE PARTY TURNED OUT REALLY GOOD BESIDES SKYLER BEING A BIT CRANKY.
